Snow is gone now

But it sure made a lasting impression.

There were 11 foot snowmen. Lots of ice and tree damage. Shoveling and power outages.

But we survived, lol.

...And we will be even better prepared next time.

We had a few avocado seeds on the counter. The kids like to check these things out. We planted one, and Leah asked if she could cut one in half and see what's inside. So I said ok :)

Barry brought me flowers :)

Barry brought me flowers on New Years Day. He also brought some for Vanessa, and some for Leah. What a nice surprise!

Got myself a Juiceman Jr

I tried it out this morning...and I LOVE it!!! I juiced a mango and an orange. It was so yummy!

Fantasy Lights

I took the weekend off and had a great time. Here is a pic form Fantasy Lights with the kids on Sunday night.

Mark and Leah turned 12 years old :)

I'm happy and sad at the same time.  They grow up so fast.  I took the day off :)

I let them open presents when they got home from school. First the birthday cards, Vanessa made them with a stencil she created.  Leah is the master of handmade cards so she liked this :)

 Vanessa got them these cool 3D drawing tablets.  So cool!!! I got them each an IPod and had Vanessa load all their iTunes songs on them before I wrapped them. :)

Leah rocked out and Mark did a little two step, lol.


Here we are at Chuck-E-Cheese in Tacoma.

Then their dad came by with some presents.  He took some pictures with them then had to go ref a game.

The kids and I came back to the house and had some cake and ice cream. Leah wanted ice cream cake and Mark wanted chocolate so I found them by the slice at Walmart.

A good time was had be all  :)
